Hey everyone, my name is Stupor. I'm a pretty dang awesome (and humble) hobbyist music producer from the southeast United States. I'd like to offer my musical services to the community as a composer for freeware games, at no cost. I'll score an entire game for free, as long as I get credit where due. Paid projects are also fine, though for now (and in observance of the rules of this particular subforum) I'm focusing on unpaid projects. (If you are interested in paying, though, email me anyway and we can probably make a deal.)

Basically, I specialize in the catchy, grooving, and cool, though I can write in any style to match your needs. Here are some examples of my work:

----------
Your Eyes
EDIT: Please note that the guitar in this song was done by a friend; I cannot guarantee that I'll have a guitar available for every project.

Captain Action!

Hot Pockets

Playtime

Elevator to the Sky

Toy Spaceship

Chiptune Gallery
(a little site of mine containing eight or so chiptunes - this is video game music, after all!)
----------

If you're interested in hiring me for your project, email me at [email protected] (that's with the number zero) and show me a bit of what you have so far. Plots, screenshots, sketches, WIP's, style ideas, love letters, anything. I'd like to see what your game is, what the feel is like, and approximately how big it'll turn out to be in the end. Tell me about yourself, the people in your group/team/posse/company if you have one, stuff like that. Most importantly, I'd like to know about how many songs you need, though this may change as development goes on - that's fine. If I like the way you roll and your game looks promising, I won't have a problem making music for you.

I can promise this: if you email me with a proposition, I will respond. I may accept or I might not, but I will never leave you hanging without a reply. I might love your game but be completely tied up with another project at that particular moment - as much as I love making music, I am a human being and can't crank out a full beautiful score in a day!

Please make sure, though, that you have a pretty solid idea of what your project is. I'll be less likely to help you if you hand me a sloppy, vague demo and a note full of excuses for lack of organization. I will help you, but only if you have a well-made project with good potential. Whether or not your game fits that description is for me to decide.

Anyway, I look forward to hearing from you! Once again, my email is [email protected] I know this forum has a PM system but I'd prefer you email me, as that I am more likely to check regularly. Thanks for reading, and hope to be making sweet music with you soon!

Paid stuff is fine here, this is the board for unpaid collaborations.

Ahh, thanks for that. They should be fine now.

Thanks for telling me. If that's the case I can get it moved.
